AP Classes in SOF?

College. College is the next step in most of our lives, new people, new homes, new friends, old friends. When you get there, you make new acquaintances, and most of them tell you how their old High School offered AP (Advanced Placement) classes. Those people who took those classes not only now know information that we missed out on, but they also gained college credit, if the College Board accepted it. Each AP class that they took in High School saves them one less class they have to attend in college. This AP class idea is great, isn’t it? Sometimes AP classes are offered, but do not reward college credit, but still, if you are learning this information early on, it will make things a lot better in the future, and easier.
AP classes are really great and should be taken advantage of by people who can truly attend the class. They save time and a lot more, including money, if you receive the credits. Too bad School of the Future doesn’t offer them. Oh well, it was a cool idea. But wait, what if we did have AP classes, of all different subjects? How great would that be? And what if we could even receive college credit for the classes? That would be most excellent
Students who have a real knack or love for certain topics could learn even more and have other students just as fascinated with the topic as they are in their class. Hannah T. in the eleventh grade and I, JD, would like to bring AP classes into SOF, because it really is a great experience. Since starting AP classes in your school is not so easy, it would take a little time to get it approved, not only by the Principle, but other teachers who would be teaching the classes. Then in order to receive college credit for the classes, we would need the college board to sanction the class.
To attend the class, first we would need the teacher to be able to teach an advanced class. Then after everything is approved, we would need to see who, and how many people, would sign up for the class. Then a placement exam would be in order. Lets fight for the right to learn, and soon enough we will all be taking college level classes in high school.

I would like to install AP classes into School of the Future
G-We're going to complain to Felix and Ms Razzaqui about the classes, and see what they have to say.
We could take student polls to see who and how many people are trully interested.
After talking to the teachers, we could discuss with College Board.Then we will protest.
H-Make a meeting with Delaura and Razzaqui, possibly Felix as well.
I-To gather data, we can have polls with in the student populas and depending on the amount of students who are actually positive about their regards to the AP class, will determine amount of aggressiveness.
J-Data was not collected, only in class, and only a third of the class was interested.
K-After discussing with MS Delaura, we have found how the classes are "tracked" next year for seniors, so we are very happy to hear that. AP classes though are somewhat out of the question, unless they wanted it after school.
L-Next time I would like to make sure that complete data was collected, but I am somewhat ok hearing how classes are tracked. It makes me more comfortable. It was a good idea, but also not so possible.
